Important Notice on CPD Portal Access and Data Loss

Dear Health Professionals,

We regret to inform you of a technical issue that has affected the CPD portal of the CEP of Milk SA. Due to a system crash, including our backup drives, we have lost most of the CPD portal data for 2024. Below are the details and next steps:

  1. Registrations BEFORE 10 April 2024:
    • Health professionals who registered before 10 April 2024 will still have access to their CPD portfolios with all history of participation. However, no information on activities done for 2024 will be accessible.
  2. Registrations AFTER 10 April 2024:
    • New registrations made after 10 April 2024 must be re-registered.
    • Unfortunately, articles submitted and CPD certificates issued between 10 April and 9 December 2024 are no longer accessible via the portal. Please refer to the confirmation emails you received at the time of submission for your records.
  3. Submission of CPD Points to the HPCSA:
    • The CEP of Milk SA has submitted all CPD points for questionnaires completed before 20 November 2024 to the HPCSA.
    • For questionnaires completed between 20 November and 9 December 2024, please contact the CEP directly as we are working to recover and submit the necessary data. You do not have to redo the questionnaires.
  1. Current status:
The CPD portal is now fully operational. Users can access CPD articles and questionnaires as usual. Upon completing an activity, you will also have access to certificates and a completion history for activities completed after 9 December 2024.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding as we work diligently to resolve this issue.

The Consumer Education Project of Milk SA's Continued Professional Development (CPD) activity
The CEP of Milk SA offers dietitians and nutritionists an opportunity to obtain continuing education units (CEUs) in line with the requirements of the HPCSA and accredited by the CPD office of ADSA. The CPD activity mainly covers topics focusing on the nutrition and health benefits of milk and other dairy and related nutritional matters.
The online portal offers you the following features:
- keep a record of all questionnaires completed from 2021 onwards
- notifies you immediately if you have not obtained the minimum requirement of 70%
- receive or download your certificate immediately upon successful completion of your Q&A's
- allows you to download your CPD certificate immediately for your record keeping
The CEP will submit your CEUs directly to HPCSA
How does it work?
You have to register on the Dairy CEP App. New members can follow the online prompt guide for registration. Click on the link below to go to the DAIRY CEP Appr. It is important to ensure that you enter the correct details including email address, and DT or NT number to generate the correct CPD certificate. NOTE: Your CEUs will be rejected by the HPSCA if any details are incorrect. Kindly refer to your online profile on the App
Select and download the article(s) you would like to complete, click on START to commence with the questionnaire. The closing date for submission is 31 December 2024.
